Never mind about flying cars stuck in traffic - hardly any people. Flying cars are nothing but scientific fiction. Last Monday, Japan's public test of a flying car was tested. The prototype flying car hoverboard was able to stay in the same position for more than a minute, rising 5 feet above the ground. The Washington Post reported this information.

The fleet was developed by the Tokyo-based technology company NEC. The large dragon-shaped flying car has four rounded wings. The battery-powered car was originally designed to transport automated goods.

The test was conducted in a factory in the NCEC factory area in Aiko, Tokyo.

"The NEC thinks the revolution in travel by flying cars is going to change," said Norihiko Isaguro, vice president of NEC Corporation. When that time comes, we are creating technology and services for the future. ”

To be successful in producing commercially available flying cars, a number of technical improvements will be required. These include battery life, safety and flying rules. However, flying cars are more affordable, less noise-efficient and have the advantage of Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (EVTOL) compared to conventional helicopters. It will be used for transport, luggage transport and recreational travel in crowded areas.

The Japanese government is seeing the flyer project positively. The government has set a pilot test for flying airliner in Fukushima City.

According to the country's infrastructural plan, the use of technology is expected to deliver goods by 2020, and use of human traffic by 20 years.

Of course, Uber, Airbus, Volcopter and Boeing are also working alongside the NEC to make flying cars.
