What will work with the 'Stop Dengue' app?

A mobile app called 'Stop Dengue' has been launched to raise public awareness and prevent dengue outbreaks spread across the country. The app has been created by five government ministries and departments and four agencies together. The e-commerce association of Bangladesh (e-cab) oversees the work of creating the app.

Mohammad Abdul Wahid, general secretary of e-cab, said that using the 'Stop Dengue' app, one can automatically detect mosquito breeding anywhere in the country. Through this, mapping of mosquito breeding grounds across the country will be made. As a result, the city corporation and the local government can easily determine how many people should be recruited in a given area with the density of mosquito birth space. The number of medicines to control or use to control mosquitoes will also be known through the app. At the same time, careful preparation can be taken in advance for next year.


Abdul Waheed added that the app has been created with the target of 300 million smartphone users in the country. The app has been created so that they can work towards creating dengue awareness. Now many people are giving a lot of information about dengue. But there is no opportunity or advantage to verify the correct information. This app is being created as a platform to provide accurate information about dengue. Various communities are trying to engage in this. It can be uploaded immediately. Uploading an image will add to Auto Mapping. Complaints will be investigated according to the pictures and information connected with the various areas. The app will be a platform for citizens to provide feedback or feedback.

Bangladesh Scouts, E-Cab, Dhaka South City Corporation, Dhaka North City Corporation, Director General of the Department of Health, Local Government, Office of the Director-General of Health, signed a multilateral agreement at Shams Hall, Shams Hall, in the National Scout building of Kakrail of the capital on Saturday. E-Cab Bangladesh President Shami Kaiser said the e-commerce association joined Dengue awareness with their 5,000 members. As they work, they need an app for dengue awareness and hygiene management. The mapping of the 'Stop Dengue' app is done to provide information-based services. In order to make the app easier for ordinary people to use, it has been noted.

E-Post and BD-Youth have helped create the app. The app can now be found on the Android platform.

After the launch of the Stop Dengue App, Bangladesh Scout Executive Director Arshadul Mokaddes, E-Commerce Bangladesh President Shami Kaiser, Dhaka South City Corporation CEO Mostafizur Rahman, CEO of Dhaka North City Corporation Abdul Hai, Director of Digital Health, Alajul Salabat Health Mahbub Hossain, Additional Secretary of the Local Government Department, Atoi Project P. Icalaka Abdul Mannan, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Disaster and Relief. Mohsin signed the agreement on behalf of his own organization.
