Bangladeshi startup e-commerce courier service Equiur has received investment from a Hong Kong-based company. For this, the Bangladeshi startup has been evaluated at Tk 5 crore. However, the amount of investment has not been disclosed. Ecuador's Chief Executive Officer, Biplob Ghosh, confirmed the first light investment.
The first step in investing was in Ecuador. The company started its operations as a courier service organization from that year. At present, the Equatorial-Commerce business offers many services.
Biplob Ghosh said that in addition to expanding the product delivery network outside Dhaka due to new investment, enhanced warehouse facilities will be enhanced and this will be done through investment in infrastructure and technology sector. In addition, this investment will be used to increase the geographical range of activities, gain confidence and improve work efficiency.
Biplob said the services have been sorted by consolidating services through online. The acquirer also has product delivery facilities for invoice management, data-driven analysis, inter-city product delivery services, express product transportation services, and e-commerce companies. Ecuador currently operates service activities in six districts of Bangladesh and more than a thousand union levels. Currently, there are more than 5 employees in the company.
