Hyundai brings solar panels to cars

হুন্দাই সৌর à¦ÂªÃ §Ã ¦¯Ã ¦¾Ã ¦¨Ã §‡Ã ¦²Ã ¦¯Ã §Ã ¦•Ã §Ã ¦¤ গাড়িSouth Korean car maker Hyundai has released a new version of the solar-paneled Sonata Hybrid vehicle on the roof. The battery will be charged from the solar panel. The BBC reported in a report online.

Hyundai claims that if you use a solar panel for six hours a day, a charge of 5 percent of the car's battery will be available from here. The car will be able to carry 5,3 km per year. They will provide the solar panel as an additional service to the car model.

Using solar-paneled cars will save fuel and reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Medium-sized passenger cars have an improved engine control system, which can show off the power consumption.

Hyundai said they are working to create a second-generation solar roof, which will provide semi-transparent ease and light access to the cabin.

Solar-powered Sonata cars will be sold in Korea and North American markets. However, the company has not yet announced the price of such car.
